About NMK

NMK is a learning and business information hub for companies and individuals working in UK digital media.

NMK provides open access to its website (www.nmk.co.uk) which is packed with news, commentary and white papers. NMK also produces a high-level programme of topical events and courses. The programme is perenially well received due to the extensive research NMK undertakes in order to provide the broadest and deepest possible perspective. All events are offered at minimal cost to delegates to provide an essential mix of knowledge and experience sharing combined with networking opportunities.

NMK actively encourages suggestions, feedback and requests from its audiences. NMK’s not-for profit status means it is impartial and objective. Input from delegates, companies and industry bodies shape the courses, events and online debate that NMK produces and hosts. NMK exists purely as a resource for the industry.

Recent NMK events have included ‘Blogging: A Real Conversation?’, ‘Branded Digital Content: Manna from Heaven?’, ‘User Content: The Real Deal?’, ‘New Directions In Search’ and the recently launched 'Beers & Innovation' series.

NMK. Sharing ideas. Encouraging debate. Shaping opinion. Making sense of change.

"Web 2.0 in my humble opinion is a massive open platform upon which people are building anything and everything. People are enjoying the processes of search, exploration, collaboration and fusing different tools and products as much as they are the eventual products and systems themselves. That is a subtle but far-reaching change from traditional, closed media systems"

  James Cherkoff
Founder & consultant - Collaborate Marketing

About IN THE CITY

THE UK’s international music convention was founded in 1992, by Yvette Livesey and Factory Records maverick Anthony Wilson, In The City (ITC). In The City is the meeting point for everyone who matters in the music industry and for everyone to whom music matters. Interactive City, In The City's sister event, is devoted to music and digital technologies. Its mix of panels and keynotes has been an integral part of the In The City conference since it’s launch in 1994.
