Amnesty

Re-recordings of classic John Lennon tracks by Snow Patrol, Black-Eyed Peas, and The Cure are among the international repertoire of music, artist and supporter activity included in Amnesty International’s Make Some Noise campaign.

On the evening of 6th June 2006, Content 2.0 hosts a special outing of the NMK Beers & Innovation series with Amnesty among the guest speakers.

Amnesty will be joining proceedings to talk about the Make Some Noise campaign and how it unites international artists and user generated content in the drive to raise awareness of the human rights issues highlighted by Amnesty and raise funds through downloads of tracks from artists backing their work.

The evening event – Beers & Innovation with In The City co-founder and Factory Records maverick Anthony Wilson and Guests – will run from 17.30-19.00 in Albannach on Trafalgar Square. Entry is by ticket only and included in the Content 2.0 programme.

More details about Beers & Innovation @ Content 2.0 will be announced soon.
