The inaugural event, which attracted some 200 delegates and speakers, was held in June 2005 at the Institute Of Contemporary Arts in London. The event was designed and delivered by NMK, in association with In The City.
The theme for the event was ‘Are You Content’ - the phrase intentionally had a double meaning: is creative output just content and were we happy? Happy that digital technology and convergence have turned the traditional content industries upside down and inside out?
The event brought together content producers - from music, TV & film, press & publishing, games development - and those companies - from music labels to TV and mobile networks - that distribute it.
The agenda? To explore and discuss how best to mine content opportunities across all the available channels...
